Secret end game boss

In the first northern runeburrows, where seign and nowa fall down, there is a blue marker to start a "dangerous battle"

Has anyone else seen this? for myself it enters a forever loadscreen

Yeah i just found it and got stuck in the same loading screen, so i searched google and found your post. Sadly i couldnt find any other information on the topic.

i ran here after reading this post to see him, yes mine sits at the loading screen too :( it also slows my game down really bad, like them jogging on the loading screen is slow and choppy

Yeah this has been reported multiple times. Clearly something they started working on and never finished but forgot to remove everything.

Not clear at all. if anything, it is likely a simple bug they will patch

I think secret Bosses might be intended. I finished the game and i'am currently aiming for all the Steam achievements. Still missing 6 enemies for the achievement. I submitted a bug report on the official website for it.

idk if youve done the boss rush in the basement, but i found several new monsters , im not finished yet im at level 20 so far

All the enemies are in the main game with the exception of the final boss of the Hero Trial. I just completed that one. I will say that the Richie was probably the worst one to get added to my list though, especially late game.
