Sabine is fine, just not among the Top 20 (overall) maybe. Good at both attack and defense, but has no unique extra-something.

* Defense within Top 10, HP Top 10~20, Attack out of Top 20 ranking.
So, her role / function is basically: stay in front row, and don't die.
Can help in healing with a nice MP after battle.

After reaching mid-game [after you have castle and Carrie], enemy are usually bombed by someone with good SP skill. But Sabrina just doesn't have that.

Since this game is in kind of Low Difficulty (when set as "Normal"), you can probably replace Sabine with any other regular front row characters, without much difference in how you can play the game, as long as you can keep them alive.

You may also replace Sabine with Hildi, since they are in similar form and function (and with similar DEF), but there are times when certain members are enforced as "must have" to be in the party, and the "free slot" will be reduced, sometimes to only 1 free position.

Hildi is sometimes in the "required member" list in storyline; but Sabine is never.
Hildi (L range) can be put in both front / back row; but Sabine (S range) is front row only.
In high level,
Hildi got more MP than Sabine.
Sabine got more ATK than Hildi.

Yusuke, lugo, nowa, isha, Hakugin and lam.

clear those random battle fast cos of Isha/Hakugin row attacks.

For boss, just keep buffing yusuke for his crazy damage. Lugo with his 5sp Slash, and Lam special skill.
