Does Mio get good?
Right now, I just claimed my castle, and leading some log through a forest.

I initially wanted to try and keep my party as close as I could to the original characters you started with, but I'm finding it VERY hard to like Mio.

The problem is that she's insane weak offensively, and defensively, I've geared her out as much as I could right now, but as it stands, Iugo is clearly the far superior pick when it comes to a Samurai class.

Does Mio get any better later on? Cause this is really disappointing, usually the "Main" characters are supposed to be over powered, but some random one I found.

I would also like to know as I tried to use her too pretty much for that exact reason, but ended up switching her for Yusuke because her damage was pathetically low (like Francesca was doing 5x the damage). I thought being a main-er character maybe she'd get something better later on, but lost patience.

Supposedly she is meant to shine in her critical hits, and comes together more at high levels. Considering how fast characters can catch up in this game, I'm probably putting her on the bench until one battle can rocket her up to 40+, at least.

Mio is fast though... and her first Sp-skill has a decent chance to insta-kill

It's not necessary that the initial members will be best characters.

I use her as a main, she is in my top 6 at all times, I build her with speed luck dex, and she evades everything, and rarely gets hit. I cast a 3 turn shield on her and and she oneshot mobs like it no tomorrow.

This includes rune for speed/luck/dex and acc

People are saying she becomes one of the best around level 70. She's one of the lowest stat characters you have available until level 60 though. I think she was doing nearly half the damage of the "good" characters last time I tried to use her.
