Yusuke and Kuroto are gigachad
Yusuke charge for a turn, Kuroto buff his attack in the next turn using fire rune and being faster than Yusuke. Yusuke becomes one punch man in turn 2 and 4 because the buff lasts 3 turns 2-4. Charge another turn then unleash again. Kuroto shields Yusuke which is in the front row.

While getting more characters, somehow I am more amazed how they are available so early and better than the characters I got later. Do you have specific team mates which you like to pair together?

Falward + Francesca: Their Hero Combo is a 3-SP cost moderate heal to all allies and boost atk power for 3 turns. Does not stack with fire rune atk buff up, so I guess it saves a turn for everyone buffing. Also costs SP so it definitely helps with MP conserving. You could also have a bunch of tankers just stall for 3 turns to get that heal though the one con is Francesca is pretty fragile hp wise and she's on the slower side. I equipped a Earth Rune on Falward to help get boss shields down with Nowa asap or cure status during boss battles (actually doesn't come up often).

Melridge + Hildi: Haven't had the opportunity to use but seems interesting so far as both units look like mages that don't have much use for SP. A Hero Combo that's 2-SP cost aoe is something I can take to help with farming.

Perry: Haven't used yet, but she has Taunting Evasion. Could possibly be built as an evasion tank but she appears to have a nice support. Valentin + Hakugin both have expert evasion which lasts 3 turns as a interesting side note, Barnard has a dodge+parry which I'm unsure as well. If they all work as I think they do in a ideal world, I'd combo evasion tanks with Falward + Francesca.

Yaelu: Might work with evasion tanks but not sustainable for long fights. Her stats are peculiar, check her out.

Yuthus: Until I make sense of these dodge/taunt/priority mechanics, Yuthus is pretty self-explanatory to combo with anyone on paper. I just don't use him because I can't handle his gigachad power.

If I had to build a concept team at my current point in the game and taking your input, it would probably be
Front: Yuthus, Kuroto, Galdorf
Rear: Falward, Francesca, Kuroto.
Support: Perry

Yuthus defends, Kuroto/Galdorf charges up, Falward/Francesca Combo every 3 rounds, Kuroto for speed needs, probably with water rune since Falward/Francesca combo covers that.

Problem is I like using story or canon teams for my first run so I won't actually know if this theoretical team works.

Yusuke is insane. He's Gigachad indeed. Charge up and buffed him with whoever, dude casually slaps for 769 damage (I think that was around level 38). Plus he got insane HP on top of it and a unique rune to remain with 1 HP if he would go down. I love him. He's also pretty cool, I mean come on "Brofist, yo" when getting buffed, how can you not love that.
