Kraken glitch

Game keeps freezing/pausing near the end of this fight and have to alt f4, are there any work arounds anyone knows of? This is the third or fourth glitch involving recruiting characters I have run into.

After the 9th try it didn't glitch. So, I guess the fix is to keep trying until it doesn't glitch lol

I attacked the tentacle when it held the gate then opened the gate and fired the harpoon one last time and it didnt crash,the times I got crrash i ignored the tentacle in the lever. hope this helps

I just ignored the lever. It didn't seem to do anything. But as for the topic... I have no idea. It didn't freeze for me, but Steam has a lot of people saying it's freezing. They did a lot of wonky programing IMO.

Glitches\Bugs like this should be Top Priority, hopefully they will release a patch soon to fix the gamebreaking stuff that causes the game to freeze/crash.

This just happened to me after having to retry the fight 4 times. I think I'm done with this game until it gets patched, and even then I might not bother. Why are games such trash nowadays?

Hi there, recently had this problem 5 times in a row (In my case, it always happened when the kraken used rampage). Nevertheless, what it worked for me was to deactivate vsync and set the game to 30 FPS in settings. After that I didn't have any issue and could complete the fight. I hope they fix the bug, but I hope this workaround works for someone else having problems with this.

Thank you, i also did this when i experienced this. i almost abandoned the game lol .

I can verify it worked for me.
