HELP i accidentally sold a key item to recruit character

You can drop more antiques and get another chance to appraise one, otherwise I don't think there's any buybacks.

i've got like 3 pearl watch drops beyond the one in the chest. you didnt lock yourself out of anything. i'm pretty sure the enemies in the desert area and other places can drop them. put on the item drop accessory if you really fell the need to.

You can find watch appraisal items fighting enemies on the sand sea. (the place where you sail the sand boat)

phew; thanks for that guys... I just got to the desert. I'm liking the combat and I'm a grinder at heart so I guess Imma get me some 10 of those...just to be sure xD

It's a mistake in communication to the player to include "Can be sold for a high price" in the item description, as it implies it's an item that's designed to be sold. Ran into this same problem when I got to the first desert town and I'm not to happy about it

i accidentlly sold mine also. farmed the desert areas but got none. eventually got a lot of em in castle harganthia. cheers

Can confirm this now... whilst scouring the desert I found multiple unidenitied items, a couple of which turned out to be pocket watches (and a couple being worth much more than them)....

Great way to get the 100K required to recruit the guy in the inn :)

you can just farm it again.....

I farmed the desert for like 20 of those items but they were only cats and vases, no pocket watch
can you really get it from there?

I ended up finding another pocket watch. You have to go to the big open desert, the one where you're sailing around on the ship. Not the one that is in the same area with the appraiser

ah thanks, yea i was farming in the area around the town

Had the same issue and decided to try out this method of farming in the desert by shi’arcraft. The east side of the map seemed to be where they dropped the most. In a 10 minute span with the monster attract charm on I got 4 watches to appraise.
