So all you need to do is keep using the normal skill till the breakpoint skill active and keep spamming it.
You can't "lose" a duel. Its part of the story.
You don't have to win, and winning doesn't really effect the story, you just get some different dialog.
You can win it? You can't damage him pass the breakpoint. And when you use breakpoint skill...it advance the story and 2 breakpoint finish the duel...how can you defeat him?
Just Seigns duel is unfail-able, The other duels you can fail and have to redo
Go to Kyshiri village, remove everyone except Nowa from your party and fight outside of town. You should easily get to level 22, but if you want to feel less at the risk of RNG, level to 24 for better results. Make sure you equip a rune of HP, and have the best gear and weapon available.
