Where to restock healing items when you 1rst get HQ ?

I looked around everywhere but couldn't find any vendor !
Am I missing something ?
Cause the beasties in the woods hit really hard and I ran out super fast of healing herbs !
Not to mention the lack of possibility to upgrade gear ?

All the vendors and what not are recruits and linked to upgrading your HQ. To start with, you don't have any. You're better off backtracking through the mines (which have a shortcut now and all the enemies should have the 'allow to flee' option) to the village just outside the mines and restocking there.

Also now that you have the HQ you can recruit the merchant guy inside the mines so you can build the item shop

Ah thanks but where's that shortcut ? From inside the castle ? Cause on the world map I only have the choices for 2 forest trails ! Actually even the overwolrd monsters are tough !..

In the castle, instead of going out the front (down on the map), go out the back. You should see a graveyard. Go to the well there and interact with it and you'll drop down into the mines again.
