Boulder doesn't drop in the abandoned mine
In the scene to charge the minecart into the wall to the right, and then a boulder should fall into the cart. But I tried again and again with no success. Any idea?

Make sure to go far back enough so when you charge into the wall, you have enough time to build up momentum and power.
all the way back and Charge like a mad bull >.<

I started pushing the cart from leftmost (just next to the boulder to the left), and then pressed "right" direction all the way. But got no response when that cart hit the end.

Did I miss anyting?

Do it again. Maybe it takes multiple hits and people aren't realizing it because their first hit didn't work.

A lot of people have reported this, but they never seem to come back to the topic so I assume they're figuring it out.

I think you are supposed to be using a gamepad.

You should see the speed has increased from walk to run if doing it right.

And are you sure you are in the right point on the map?

i've had this happen before too. i was like "this worked on beta, why won't it work now?" it took a couple more times for it to finally "register". still unsure what was up with it. lol

This same thing is happening to me :(
Ive tried restarting a new game and i just got back to that point and the freaking boulder still wont drop. I promise i go back all the way to the big rock that needs to be destroyed and ive ran into the wall like 20 times lol

I've tried twenty or thirty times with both controller and keyboard, but still cannot get it work. I just hold down the right direction all the way until the cart cannot be moved further

Have you tried watching a lets play to make sure you're doing everything right? Thats what I usually do when I'm stuck on something. But personally I don't remember having trouble in that mine.

Yes, I've watched some walkthrough videos, but still cannot figure out what the problem is. From videos, I can see the scene shakes when the cart hit the end (even if the charge range is not sufficient). But it seems the scene doesn't shake at all from my side

OK. I figured it out.

This is definitely a bug. If I use 30FPS, I can reproduce it 100%. But when I switch to 60FPS, it works.

Wow, that's something I haven't heard before. Are the checks for your speed and such only occurring on specific frames that the 30fps is skipping over since the game logic is synced to 60? That is wild. Or maybe you have to maintain a certain speed for a specific number of frames?

Interesting.... I mean it kind of matches up with the (ex?)-encounter bug being tied to fps.

Sounds like in similar way in the game dealing with monster encounters, and dialog with recruit lam.

Perhaps like: during process z, event happen when checking counter s = 60 x multiples.

I’m on 60fps and it won’t drop the boulder. Does anyone know a workaround or do I just not get to continue This game?
