Yeah, well, about that, there currently are two timed missables - Aleior the griffin andd Galladur. Both need to be taken in the moments between certain story events unfold or you may miss them at all

they really need to get their asses on patching these game breaking bugs, not being able to go back to the last dungeon because I did it all in 1 go instead of leaving and coming back is beyond frustrating.

Well, they are technically not game breaking bugs. They don't break player from finishing the game. Reaching ideal outcome of the game - yes. But that is only the player's own fault for not being more thorough.

I know in suikoden that you missable but here the dev said in one off it tweet that they made the game without missable! I almost get all the character except this two because they lock one zone and one character... they block the place because of the undead invasion but didn't block the other place that get invade as well... so I think that doesn't make sens....

One thing they could have done is to warn the player that further progression could lead off locking the zone or the character so we could double or triple check before that happen...

You missing the point here. The game tries to stay true to the old mechanics of old Suikoden 2. And there was no warning system. They wanted to make a game as close to old one as they could. And I do understand that for some people this absence of warnings or quality of life choices is infuriating.

Dont all modern gamers know to have multiple save files? I cant recall playing a game in the past 12 years that I dont have multiple saves.

It's been a while so I might be misremembering, but I thought the devs only confirmed there would be no timed missable characters (like the infamous Clive sidequest in Suikoden 2). They didn't say it would be impossible for story progress to render characters unavailable.

Hmm you sure about Aleior? I just recruited him in the post-game.

You are correct, thats exactly what they said here:

The OP is either mis-informed or misquoting something. At no point did the developers say there are no missable characters. Players still make mistakes and sometimes you have to take ownership of them and not shift the blame to someone else.

Its kind of the charm of the series. I know Im gonna miss a few characters the first playthrough. I probably missed more than a dozen characters each my first playthroughs of the original Suikoden 1 and 2. LOL we didnt have walkthroughs back then either :P

Your main word here is POST-GAME. These people are complaining missing the characters before the reaching the end game. Which actually makes me think that post-game is probably best option to last check for all missed characters once more.

If you recruit Aleior in post game, how do you get 'super lucky girl' to join when Nowa already finish his speech?

Hmm good point, in that case it wouldn't help people trying to recruit all available characters before... that one spoilery scene.

This won't be popular, but the game should be rushed the first time and then completed in NG+. IMO

Until guides are created or people with too much time on their hands comb through it.

Some of you are expecting playthroughs like in Suikoden 1 and 2 where everyone knew the optimal thing to do at all times.

There are already full recruiting guides. Complete and detailed. As of 23rd of April at least, I followed one such guide.
