Dont want journey to end

Hey guys, I'm currently on final battle to beat Dux. I know Im very close to ending the game, with 114 heroes collected.
But I kind of feel sad, I dont want the journey to end.

I spent 140 hours so far. I enjoy cycling all the heroes in the party and the BGM is SO good (there might be improvements but overal is really good vibe of JPRG).

What should i do?

Aim for a platinum trophy.

I already finished the game, I'm just tidying up the achievements but I'd say I still got many more hours ahead of me.

The Journey must end at some point. 140 Hours is a worthy playtime.
Don't be afraid of putting it down, and coming back later for a fresh experience.

I mean technically you can do New Game + with all characters recruited, but it might feel a little stale going through the game again so quickly and that feature might be best saved for when you return in the future.

If you haven't , you can do all the mini-games to perfection.

Or play around with Theatre Mode.

Get your characters to level 99.

Yeah there's a lot of minigames to pass some time with, but it you haven't done the theater, you should definitely spend time there. Honestly it might be better than the entire normal game.

try suikoden 2 if you can find it. that game still holds up as one of the best jrpgs even after three decades.

Yes, if you never played any of the other Suikodens, please play Suikoden and Suikoden 2.
Make sure you recruit me and always use me in your party (Suikoden 2)

you can still beat the game see the ending and then continue from there, mystery dungeon, raise everyone to 99. test builds. Sharpen all weapons, gear everyone up

catch all the fish, and cook all the dishes. get all rare items. make a million in trade. play new game plus. play endless mode in M.Dungeon. beat everyone at cards, beat everyone, and find all spinners. win all races, make the ultimate egg beast. get S in all plays, and do all the mock battles.

Build the whackiest team and try replaying with that. Take that wackiest team and throw wierd runes on them and see how it goes. equip them with up encounter rates for fun

Of course remember the DLC is coming. Supposedly all three are supposed to be out this year (granted I won't hold my breath).

Wow, so if someone enjoys the game a lot, they saying they had a "loss sense of taste" because it doesn't align with their opinion of the game. sad life... I guess lol

I like how they trying to cut peeps down, then delete the post to keep from getting banned. Then try to ban others for cutting them down. If they get banned for this post, they will try and say its against them. Luckily peeps kept the original post up

supposed to be as long as the main game, 40 more hours worth.

Thanks guys. Yeah i will definitely play NG+. Not sure why can be this long though. Close to persona 5 timing.

Hehe I still name archers in rpg's "kinnison" and sometimes use the name Shiro too. Pretty sure kinnison was the Archer guy with Shiro, right? I haven't played that game in 25ish years. Was the first and only game to make me tear up while playing it.

Suikoden 1 & 2 will be coming "soon" to steam. A must have.

Although beware, the localization for Suikoden is much worse than this game (maybe the localization trolls can get Konami to fix it) **sarcasm**
