Beigoma Pyre Fight

Can anyone gives me any hints or tips for this battle? I use all of the golden tops I have but the only one that I can win with is Nidhoggr, all of the other ones either get destroyed easily or it's down to the last bit of health and he gets the last hit off.

Are you forcing the button mashes? Use a boost when the enemy does, the timing should be as it enters the last triangle part of their trapezoid-shaped boost gauge, but before it fills up completely.

So try not using the beigoma with slower boost gain that gets them lapped, I don't remember which ones.
