The OP might have made it a bit extreme but 30 is way too low with the fact that you have to trek all the way to town to store things. If for instance you could swap at save points, it wouldn't be nearly as much a problem.
Hmm, so there is actual inventory management making the game more challenging!? Good lord, don't change that! It's been my dream to play a Suikoden game with an actual challenge for decades.
In the Beta Demo, Is the maximum inventory 72 or 30?
It's 30 slots, but items are grouped into bundles, different sizes depending on the items. Healing herbs are grouped into 6 each, so if you have 15 that takes up 3 of the 30 slots.
Suikoden always have been an actual challenge in their inventory management. Well not really a challenge once you got used to it.
I've played all of them. What the hell are you talking about, do you not understand English?
And there is NO challenge in a Suikoden game, so you'e obviously never played a JRPG before.
1000 maybe too much tho, perhaps much larger stacks per item and maybe more slots for items? but i've also played almost all of the suikoden series (except tactics) inventory space have never been an issue, you don't really use options and antidotes that much since you have spells to take care of that.
Also, all party bags and item slots on heroes, are separate. So hero items slots didn't take up party bag space
Dude is not playing Suikoden, he's hoarding items for a rogue-like dungeon crawl through like 15 floors.
Yup
Having to constantly back track to deposit items is not a fun game feature and should have no place in a video game made in 2024
