We are currently working on the second hotfix, with a major focus on significantly reducing in-game stuttering. We understand that many players have encountered performance issues, and we are making it a priority to minimize these effects as much as possible to enhance your gameplay experience.
I have noticed stutter on the following occasions
- When navigating through chests with the remote viewing option on, opening and closing the interface on the main equipment often has this.
- When moving the camera but not the character model, when walking and moving the camera, I've never seen it. This has resulted in some fun bullet-time moments when things catch up.
- When fishing during the mini game, I've lost a few pieces of bate due to missing a mark due to lag spike.
I have just closed the game as this lag was really getting to me after a few hours of playing. I have been playing for a few hours, can't be sure, but the longer I play the worst it got but have no evident to support this.
An issue I do have is the loading times, initial game loading is not a problem and I even with a good machine I am use to that being slower. But in game, when transitioning between areas the load time is extremely slow and results in lag spike after loading when moving the character. I am running off a high speed M.2 SSD on decent game hardware (No issues with Baldur's Gate 3, CyberPunk 2077 and Doom Eternal) and checking resource use, there's plenty to spare/
I hope this helps, loving the game and would enjoy it more without the frustrating lag/delays.
We’re back with an update regarding in-game stuttering.
Following the release of the latest hotfix, version 1.0.0.006r, the frequency of stutters should have decreased. However, we understand that the issue is still present, and we’re continuing our efforts to improve this aspect of the game.
In a few weeks, we’re planning to release another update that will also include further optimization improvements.
Thank you for your patience and support!
Though my issues seem to differ a bit, I got stable fps and camera movement is smooth, but moving the character around seems to cause short hiccups/frame skipping. Not location loading hangs but rather constant hiccups while running around in an already loaded location.
