Too many earthworms!!!
OMG, where to sell something? I was already going to be overwhelmed by earthworms and had to throw them on the ground.

Have you tried... fishing?

The fish you catch can be used to get food and resources.

But there are so many of them, maybe 200 or more. And slime, I've given up picking them up.

Alot of people have made comments about the lack of ability to deal with stacks of items you aqquire. hoping they will add something soon for it! ive got like 3 upgraded chests full of stuff in the corner of the map just to get it out of sight

This game looks tempting, but at the same time, like so many so-so crafting/survival games it looks like it has a tedium laced simplistic inventory system.

I've watched a few streamers/youtubers playing this and every one of them has inventory problems within moments and one was actively avoiding looting to get around the issue and still had problems.

So is this game an inventory management sim, or is there actually a game?

I guess I just don't get it with these games. It's NEVER fun to have constrained inventory and is always annoying to have to do everything manually with zero help from the UI. So why do devs keep doing this to players?

its not so much a limited invent. its just that theres no way to distroy surplus atm and some things you get ALOT of easily. the game is less then a week old so theres still alot of stuff to be sorted. but the game does have some nice features. the chests are twice upgradeable and you can link them all together. the bots are another bonus. it just needs a way to get rid of trash or something to do with like ink/slime or seeds and such. and yes plexi glass storage and maybe upgraded wood/sheet metal

I hope there will be some decorations available in the future, such as lamps (really in need of those! Torches are not aesthetically pleasing). And perhaps the excess seeds could be made into potted plants.

personally i thought maybe like a compost bin might be one option. you could allow the player to shove excess seeds, earthworms perhaps even leech tails or ink/slime in it and it could give biomass back.

OMG, yes! This so much! I love survival games or base-building games, but inventory management drives me absolutely crazy! As you say, there is no fun at all to spend a lot of your time - in this game I feel it's close to 50% at times! - just having to juggle items in your inventory, having to expand your inventory, or trying to come up with ingenious ways to NOT deal with your (overflowing) inventory.

And, at the same time, I just can't leave stuff on the ground, because it bugs me. There's also the added fact that my minions (why not just call them bots?) just place items into storage randomly. I've tried manually handling their routines, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to restrict them from picking up certain stuff or restrict them from using certain storage boxes. You can direct them to pick stuff up and place it somewhere, but the minion system really needs some more tweaking.

The game still has some rough edges to smooth out. It isn't just a matter of telling people to play better or that they are wrong in their feedback. A good game designer listens to these concerns and tries to integrate the feedback.

The economy doesn't feel good to engage with at this stage of the game. I don't want to be in this player's situation where the act of farming creates such a huge backlog of consumables for other activities that I am pushed to engage in those activities, especially if I don't like those activities.

I also do not like leaving litter on the ground, and I don't want to build a bunch of storage chests for junk.

how? do you have 50 plant beds or something? because gatering plants is the only way they drop.

like others said, go fishing, you'll need fish oil and food.

for leeches (i have none at all anymore) and against more slime, you need to keep weeds at a minimum by placing uv-lamps close to the big plants...

sometimes 2-3 worms fall from the garden
5 garden of coffee or pepper 10-15 worms in 1 stage ... catching fish will get bored later..

As NNTorro said, the earthworms are abundant, but I have grown tired of fishing. This brings forth a new problem. If I focus on gardening, it will bring me more earthworms, and I have no other way to make use of them...
