edit: fishing also serves as a great extra resource collection. without bait you can get scrap and plastic as well as clams. this is 2 fold as plastic also makes a simple lure. this with clams means you rarely run out of fish as food and its dead easy to catch
The speed at which it can drain makes the extra carry capacity buff from a full meter nigh on useless unless you have planned ahead every time you plan to utilize it.
I'm loving the game so far, might twitchy on the build system but its the hunger bar which is killing things lol
Completely agree. The decay rate is way too fast, especially for a relaxed survival game.
The upside: a useful hand with built in tools.
The downsides: it's slowly killing you by devouring nutrients.
The solution: you must eat all the things, constantly.
It gets easier later in the game when you can make better food, but as others have said fish patties are going to be your main food source for quite a while. It's the easiest to mass produce with 0 initial resource cost (just your time and clicking).
