engineer minion stops working after a while?
I had an engineer minion that was regularly taking biomass from my storage and refueling my bioreactors. And then he just stopped and seemed to get stuck "looking for generator to refuel." I tried to change its job and then change it back. Tried moving it too. Even tried making a different minion the engineer instead. Nothing works...it just stops moving and stands there.

I'm having the same problem at completely random intervals.

Tried every possible combination of automatic or manual targetting for the reactors and fuel containers but the minion just gets stuck either finding a reactor to fuel or a fuel source.
Meanwhile the chest with the fuel is 6 squares directly opposite from the reactors with no obstructions.
It helps if I change the minion settings so they get moving again but never longer than a few ingame days.

I've already lost so many UV towers to leeches because of this, so now ironically I have to spend more time checking up on and resetting the minions each day than it would take me to do their jobs directly.

Hey! We are having some issues with our minions pathfinding so the team are working on it right now to improve this in the next patch!

For me, every other minion works fine. They also serve other generators just fine. It's just the one that trips them up.

The minions pathing takes them to the rear of a building, side opposite where the arrows are when you place it, which means that if you're trying to be neat and avoid gaps between things they will stop working.

Having a 1 tile wide gap also messes with the pathing.

They've always been finicky and going around the back is something I noticed with the charging pool & storages and reported as a potential problem during early access.

Upside is the engineer can be ignored one you have access to solar and accumulators, downside its that's a lot of cabling which can impact performance.
