Not sure what the problem is with the roof patches? They at least switched the look so it doesn't look like wood but we make it with plastic.
new tools will definitely appear in some future updates
Damn you guys are really struggling with this game. That is really sad you put out another 1/2 update. I do fully understand the idea of progression and the carrot, but this is insane. You have given us 2 updates with large amounts of padding. I'm guessing your struggling so much to keep development rolling that your frantically putting out little updates with unusable objects, locked off areas to give the player the feeling of progressing to new things while severely limiting the actual ability to progress. it's smoke and mirrors. Your player base is dying and this early that's bad.
A suggestion perhaps? Since you guys feel plastic is the single most critical resource in the game and a significant chunk of game play is the player trying to get enough plastic and biomass, consider this. stop adding new stuff. quit trying to tier progression. At least for now. Base it more on plastic. reduce game objects and complexity. You may need to adjust resource gathering for such mechanics but the idea here is simplification. you don't need to add new objects and create interesting new progression paths. this allows you to shift focus to the areas most needed. the existing lists of issues and balances. Save both your game and your sanity before they all crash and burn.
I don't want I am Future to be another on the 'failed EA list' but in it's current form the game is more frustrating and disappointing then enjoyable. and obviously that's bad.
'Exciting new areas' have been released two updates in a row with part of the area inaccessible, the first time a little bit, and the second time, now more than 70% of the 'exciting new area' isn't actually available. What is the actual update other than i can give a gift to my refrigerator?
