Can't put Earl back...

After the Housewarming Party that made me move everyone, I can't position Earl back where he was. There is a huge gap between him and the wall. It's messing with my build and walking space.

Anyone else experience this? Am I missing something? I just want him back where he was.

Edit: To add that he's also positioning farther to the right (when I'm facing him) as well. It's as if his entire positioning option is changed after moving him.

I am assuming that since everything else is in a grid placement system that centers items within the grid, that Earl was originally freely placed not on the grid system.

That annoyance aside, the game is wonderful and I can't wait to see future content. :)

I have this issue as well, I just wanted to move him without knowing, that he can't stand against a wall, now I can't put him back :(
