No scrap metal cannot progress

I've picked up all the scrap metal but there isn't any more and I'm stuck, I've tried 3 playthroughs but all 3 I can't build a transformer as I run out

Hey there!

One of the options for getting scrap metal is fishing: you can get some out of the ocean.

This has also happened to me. Fishing without bait gives 3-4 plastic for every one scrap metal. We need a renewable source of scrap metal similar to trees with the planks. I'd rather not spend long stretches of time fishing for a basic resource.

If you have unlocked the smart tower you can visit a few points early on that give scrap metal on most days.

Other than that, you can also disassemble currently useless resources via the workbench press and then focus on unlocking a new roof, which usually drowns you in scrap metal.

I like to scrap lightbulbs and copper wire, personally.

How? I have hundredes of scrap metal O_o its def. the easyst resource of alle just expand to new areas and you will get so much to scrap.

so much scrap and pipes I've been mass crafting frames just to use it up.
