Hammer and tools

All the basic tools should be either searchable or at least give us the hammer to start, cooking the stew for the hammer is PIA.......... And the printer for the foam blocks should not show it if you cannot create it without upgrading it, which is kinda pointless because we need the foam blocks from the get go........ if you are trying to make this game grindy your doing a great job so have fun getting people to play it..... take a look at planet crafter and learn something......

The salad for the hammer is a wee bit RNG for ingredients because you'll have limited farming available and crops don't always give seeds when harvested. But with other things to do that don't require hitting something it's not that big of a deal.

There's plenty of other food options so you don't have to be eating salads.

Personally liked the option of the foam in the printer, because that tells you right away that the stuff can be made here, just not yet.

Progression seems fine to me. Each tool is a good gateway that gives a big influx of salvage each time you get a new one.

Being built in multiple stages the bridge should have hinted to you that its a long term goal by the time you got to the point of needing foam.
