I played SR1 back in early access and it was nothing like it was today. It literally had probably less than half of the slimes, I'm pretty sure there was no lab or slime tech, and there were like half the vacpack upgrades.

and do you really expect them to be able to redesign all of them? unless you want them to port them directly to the new game as is, which would look super crappy

you can play without having played the first one. there's some story line you'll miss out on from the first but so far it hasn't overlapped

Oui tu peux mais franchement il y a pleins de trucs en clin d'oeil au 1 et on comprend pas... Donc c'est clairement chiant mais autrement le jeu est génial ^^

because there's hardly anything new, i am already done the whole game. doesnt matter if its still in early access, at this point its literally the same game as 1
