Issue - Randomly Freezing as I play.

Sometimes when I am playing the game screen will freeze anywhere from five seconds to ten whole seconds. It has been making playing this game a tad annoying, Once I was in mid flight and I was midway over the ocean, the screen froze and next I know I'm in the water and lost all my mats. Any fix for this?

Does the audio lag as well, or just the visuals? What hardware are you running on?

Sorry for the late reply. It's like the screen freezes on a single frame, I can still hear my jetpack and everything going and then five or ten seconds later game has unfrozen. I have had to wait for a few moments before jumping to wait for any freezes to happen. I have a fairly high end rig. Can run games like Cyberpunk with raytracing and all with minimal to no lag. Slime rancher 2 is the only game that does this random freezing.

It sounds like the GPU might be crashing and then recovering. It might be worth checking if you have the latest driver to see if that solves this. Otherwise it would probably be most helpful if you could get us a support ticket with your DxDiag information:
