Although I'm not sure exactly what we'll see if we get closer to the Prismacore still, since it seems to be turning its surroundings into straight-up gold. But the Labyrinth being like it is means they can pretty much add as many new areas in there as they like, with all sorts of slimes and wacky events/weather.
It'd be cool to see them return, but honestly none of them are really among my favourite slimes. I'd probably be most excited for the Mosaic slime since they've got a pretty cool look.
Brand new slimes with new mechanics and quirks are always more exciting though, so I do hope we get new ones primarily when the story continues.
Edit: Nvm I must've been hallucinating or smth I could've sworn they were there
I hope we still get all the old slimes back eventually just for variety's sake if nothing else, plus all the old toys we're still missing too. I wanna give my Phosphors back their nightlights!
I actually hadn't heard of the Meteor slime before, it sounds really cool! I really hope they implement that into SR2, especially now that we've already got some weather based slimes, they could make meteor showers a new weather condition.
The Prisma slimes could also make for a neat game feature, like have them be very rare and only acquired through something like stabilizing some sort of unstable slime.
Also my biggest wish is still for either a way to farm Moondew Nectar on ranch or pleeeeease at least one Flutter largo that keeps the colouring of the Flutter slimes. They're so nice looking on their own but so drab as every largo combo
Maybe in the meteor shower they could also add a really rare big meteor that drops down and leaves a crater with a bunch of resources on it similar to something like, say, Terraria.
The flutter alone has a specific way the colors are layered that combined with the subsurface scattering makes them look really awesome and less flat than the other colors. If there was a way to get enough Moondew Nectar to feed them I'd love to ranch just some free-range flutters in the conservatory just because of how nice they look.
