Slime Rancher 2

Slime Rancher 2

The return of Rad and Mosaic Slimes(Spoilers)
I think in v0.7.0 whenever it comes out the Mosaic and Rad Slimes will make their grand return. The Mosaic Slimes with their rainbow color make perfect sense to be in the Grey Labyrinth, and considering the Prismacore's massive amount of energy, Rad Slimes make a lot of sense too. I really hope they return in this update because they are my FAVORITE 2 slimes. They are the best SR1 slimes. And seeing my gold ol Rad and Mosaic buddies back would delight me. I also would find it cool if there was some kind of radiation weather or some glass themed weather for these 2 but Mosaic should be in the Labyrinth for sure. Rad Slimes would make the most sense in Ember Valley, and likely in the Labyrinth right near the Prismacore. Who else wants them to return?

Makes sense, along with Quantum slimes I'd say, since the Prismacore could well be responsible for the event that happened in the Ruins and glassing the Desert.
Although I'm not sure exactly what we'll see if we get closer to the Prismacore still, since it seems to be turning its surroundings into straight-up gold. But the Labyrinth being like it is means they can pretty much add as many new areas in there as they like, with all sorts of slimes and wacky events/weather.

It'd be cool to see them return, but honestly none of them are really among my favourite slimes. I'd probably be most excited for the Mosaic slime since they've got a pretty cool look.
Brand new slimes with new mechanics and quirks are always more exciting though, so I do hope we get new ones primarily when the story continues.

I hope quantums come back too, but the twin slimes seem like a replacement. Doesn't mean never though. But if any new slime is to be added, I would say a Prisma Slime. Why have a plort that isn't technically produced by its own slime? Though now that I think about it, a slime I REALLY hope makes a "return" is the Meteor Slime. It was a scrapped slime from SR1 that never made it in mainly due to it's code not working. But the team is much larger than during early access SR1, so they should be able to make it work. Devs, if you're reading this, PLEASE add the Meteor Slime in SR2. At least try. I want it in the game. It's magnetism feature would be awesome.

We saw Quantum Slimes in the sr2 trailer, didn't we?
Edit: Nvm I must've been hallucinating or smth I could've sworn they were there

Yeah the Twin slime does fill pretty much the same niche as the Quantum did, both mechanically and concept-wise, so it's not high on the list of slimes I'd miss tbh.
I hope we still get all the old slimes back eventually just for variety's sake if nothing else, plus all the old toys we're still missing too. I wanna give my Phosphors back their nightlights!

I actually hadn't heard of the Meteor slime before, it sounds really cool! I really hope they implement that into SR2, especially now that we've already got some weather based slimes, they could make meteor showers a new weather condition.
The Prisma slimes could also make for a neat game feature, like have them be very rare and only acquired through something like stabilizing some sort of unstable slime.
Also my biggest wish is still for either a way to farm Moondew Nectar on ranch or pleeeeease at least one Flutter largo that keeps the colouring of the Flutter slimes. They're so nice looking on their own but so drab as every largo combo :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Twin Slimes were kinda boring honestly. They had so much potential. It would've been cool if there were two variants of the slime for red and blue that could create portals between one another similar to the effect of the Black Hole Slime except temporary and short range. Maybe even ranchers would be able to step through and work as a transportation method for when you're short on dough. As for risk factor, they portal between each other meaning if one escapes, they all do. Kinda like a pulley system.

Maybe in the meteor shower they could also add a really rare big meteor that drops down and leaves a crater with a bunch of resources on it similar to something like, say, Terraria.

this just made me realize we could technicaly get quick silvers returning in some form with lightning storm. I think mochi is able to look the other way (or we could be selling those plorts right to her instead in similair way we did sell her the plorts we obtained during first game).

Ringtail flutter keeps the colour, and saber flutter at least has the colour in the face, although the saber beige for the rest of the body.

Hmm, are you sure? Because that'd mean they've changed it, the Ringtail Flutter largo was completely brown when I made one. The Saber combo is pretty much closest, but it's not quite the same.
The flutter alone has a specific way the colors are layered that combined with the subsurface scattering makes them look really awesome and less flat than the other colors. If there was a way to get enough Moondew Nectar to feed them I'd love to ranch just some free-range flutters in the conservatory just because of how nice they look.
