Over-Abundance of everything

Is there supposed to be a large amount of slimes and chickens in the labarynth? My frames drop from how many plorts, chickens and slimes that spawn. There's soooo many...!

My frame rate is ok, but I agree, it's crowded in some places!

from what I can tell, nothing naturally "despawns" after a period of time. If you want fewer slimes/chickens, the best way of doing that is to enable tarr slimes and vac up all the chickens
