Shadow Plorts

Has anyone found a good way to farm these? I just keep running around the maze bit and shooting carrots at any shadow slimes I see but I've only managed to open one day/night thing after an hour of grinding.

Unfortunately, there is no way to farm them. You have to keep chasing and hitting them. If you sneak up on them (walk normal) and stop a small distance away before they start running, you're more likely to get a few more hits in. Also, go to areas that haven't had a prismatic disruption in a while. They're more likely to spawn there.

It's a little easier in the Ember Valley section, as the narrow hallways give them less options for escaping, but you do just have to keep shooting carrots at them.
