The game's second anniversary passed, and I am wondering if there was any news elsewhere, because on Steam I cannot find anything.

Just wondering because it's officially fall 2024, and I'm excited for the upcoming update.

I'm with you. I thought at least on the Equinox they'd give a time estimate on how close we were to the big update they promised was coming out this fall. There are posts pretty regularly on their official Facebook page, but it's only memes and short clips of the game. They don't respond to comments asking for updates, but they'll engage with commenters saying they like their reels.
I have to log out to see any of it since they blocked me lol, but it's still frustrating that they don't post anything about where they are, when an update might come, or respond to any requests for that information.

I wish they'd use months, those are stable across the world. Fall, really? Some parts of the world are covered in snow right now, Australia has spring.

Let's just pray we atleast get a Christmas update or smth. I think it's likely they might be prepping one but we'll have to see.

As many have said - I understand delays, I understand not wanting to run your people into the ground, I understand sometimes stuff happens and projects get gutted. What I don't understand is refusing to communicate about any of this whatsoever even with people who already paid for the game.

just now, like an hour ago, the official date for the new update was released! It will be out on December 12th, the official Slime Rancher Twitter posted it
