What do you mean no bee drones until full release

I heard apparently we're not getting them back until full release? I just don't know why they would do that. Why would a key feature that is a major quality of life aspect be added so late... I hardly want to even play the game without them since my slimes just get mad at me when I leave the ranch, and there's so many uncollected plorts in my corrals.

Literally a feature everyones been asking for, too...

Its so ridiculous... I reaaaally don't care about the decorations, like the interactable stuff is nice /I guess/ like the slime toys and carousel/ferris wheel whatever but I would take a whole update where it's just the bee drone addition over that entire store update. Or the weather one. Its insaaane when everyone who plays is asking for bee drones back

This is what they did in the first slime rancher game. Drones came out after the game was done. So, be patient. I personally never had use for them and got along fine cause it allowed me to play for longer until getting bored cause if I wasn't moving the plorts/food myself I'd get bored as soon as I found all treasure pods.

Well good to know that they are coming back. But as much as I want the bee drones(like really badly) for how much the ranch runs when away compared to the last game. Makes sense to get all the other stuff out before having them return because they're more complex than placing a decoration down on the ground with each update possibly breaking them.

Those gadgets craft from Ringtail plorts and Deep brine (and something else) and when you throw an item in them, they speed it up in the direction where they are facing. Like a conveyor: you need a lot of them to be effective and they transport items in one direction. [/quote]

Oh damn, I was hoping it would've liked sucked in stuff. Could make free ranching tolerable. I guess that's still better than nothing. Thank you!

To me, drones made me lazier in the game, and burnt me out.

As I just slept till morning, as my slimes and drones did all the work, except for me watering the drones to awaken them.

It honestly makes the game feel worse to me.

That's my opinion though, it would still be great as an option for those who want it.

(sorry for bad spelling, typing this on steam deck) honestly i do understand why they are waiting on bees till release since they want to focus on things like decorations and the underground maze thing, both are pretty big, and honestly the decorations are pretty fun to get int once you actually bother to start doing it for example i have gone to town on the beach part of the ranch, and a large reason i have so many hours is because of using decorations to collect items or things (like every gordo from advanced snares, or every item in the game if you DARE try the display case challenge i made (get every item in display cases, cost like 400 storm glass from t3 storms, hae fun if you want the challenge!)

OH! also development wise, adding drones when the full game (or when it is almost done, as read on one of the pinned discussions), makes more sense. as if done now, drones WILL have to be updated as they add new slimes, resources, etc, into the game. so why not wait until you have more of the game done until they get released (so they dont need to keep coming back to the drones)
