How do I farm Flutter Slimes?
How do I make the nectar they want? Would keeping them in a coral as honey flutter largo's be a good idea?

I keep every slime in pair (largo) and feed them one's favorite. 1 food, 4 plorts. Afaik you can't farm the nectar, i tried putting it in a garden slot, didn't work

Hi! To get the nectar, you need to go to the Starlight Strand, and travel to the big two colored tree. (You'll need the jetpack to get there). Once you're at the tree, wait until nighttime. You should see these white-ish blossoms on the tree bark, and in the surrounding area. Throughout the night, the nectar will grow, and you can pick it up!
The issue is, you can't grow the nectar in a garden.
Personally, I did the same thing and made mine into Honey-Flutter largos. It's working well for me so far. But at the end of the day, I think it just depends on whether you're farming them for plorts, or if you want the aura that reduces slime agitation.

Nectar is NOT worth farming as feed. Feed a plort from another slime to it with easier food requirements.
You also need 15 nectar for the giant flutter.

When I farmed nectar for it, I found a spot where I could keep an eye on 5 of the giant flowers that spawn it. After more than a 24 hour in-game wait, a few of them finally started spawning. Some took 2 days. So the 15 you need for the giant is gonna take a while.
And make sure anything flutter or part flutter is in an area you can check on. Once you get 7-8 of them in a maxed out corral they can fly up to the ceiling and 'bump' it over and over, breaking out quite easily. I had 8 in a corral and came back 2 hours later with 2 in the corral and the other 6 flying around the area.

i thought it would be hard to do the flutter because you couldn't grow the dew, but the strip of land between the flutter largo and ringtail largo are easy enough to run up and down at night to get some dew for the largo
and then my "pet flutyters" are cross bread with tabby and i just feed them chickens
as said above your looking for blueish flowers on trees/ walls that they will grow on at night

Maybe people don't want to create Largos and simply have purebreed slimes. That's what Unity's Helm is implying.

The main thing is that the slimeapedia implied that I should allow them to roam the ranch. I wanted to make sure making a largo of them with Honey slimes would be safe.

as long as you have no other free-roaming slimes, then it's perfectly safe

for myself, i WISH i could have pure flutter slimes. I like their beautiful colors as they are, combining them with anything else gets rid of the color. honey slimes can get close to their original color but it's still not as pretty as the pure flutter slime
