Moonlight Nectar needs rework
listen. i love a good grind. i love resource collection, however. Moonlight Nectar is taking that a bit too far in my opinion. The Flutter Gordo is the last one i need, and its taken a painstakingly long time to gather just 8 nectar across 2 hours. And the worse bit is, you cant grow it. Making this gordo take, in my opinion, and unreasonable amount of time and effort.

Finding this nectar is really quite a struggle. There has to be some reasonable way to farm it--I don't know if maybe it hasn't been found just yet or what. If it's not farmable, that forces you to use largos with the Flutter slimes on your ranch and that's just... man, I wanted cute little butterflies all on their own!

Yea I have spent 2 days in game and I found 1 nectar. I know where to look it's just none of the flowers are making any nectar, I thought it was bugged out, but apparently it's just really ridiculously slow. I thought it was every morning it spawns.

Nope. As the Slimepedia entry says, they bloom in the night. So, go to your base, set it to night and have a stroll through that area. I managed to get the amount needed for the gordo in the two times I went through there.

once you learn where the flowers are, you can get between 7 and 15 a night (depending on how many flutter slimes eat the nectar before you get to it )

but yea, it's annoying. I'd rather grow some on my farm, even if the farm is only like 2 flowers

We outta get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map for all the nectar locations. Like dots indicating where they are. x.x

Basically take the south-eastern part of the southering island and sprinkle it evenly. That's what the map will look like.

You have to camp the nectar all night. Its in the name, moonlight nectar. Though I agree it ought to drop twice in one night instead of once. Its very rare stuff. As for farming flutter plorts your best bet is to make largos with a different appetite. You'll never feed them enough nectar. Save all that nectar for the gordo.

Nectar is so rare like that it's only good for feeding that gordo, other than that in order to properly keep flutters you need to largo them.

I got all 15 I needed in one night just running from one side of the flutter area to the other. It wasn't too hard.

Go down to the huge half circle shaped area at the bottom where the flutter Gordo is, wait until around 20-22, they only seem to spawn in the red half so don't go in the blue grass spot. You can get up to 20 per night if you go quick, they spawn in the big green flowers, you can see them pretty easily and the spot to farm them is pretty small. Hope this helps. :zote::zote:

Hi! so ive managed to get a fair amount of the nectar, it is pain but what i did was around ingame midnight i left ym base which game the game time to render it as grown, and then it was like 2 am when i got to the place they were all grown and the slimes havent made a mess of largos yet. i went to the locations of those flowers and got like 12. it is doable - just need to time it right

i was so surprised when i found out about moonlight nectar because i instantly thought ohh maybe they got some flowers in one of my other areas at home and ... nope... none of the environment trees at home in any unlockable area have flowers
