Do Slime Rancher 2 will have a coop mode?

I really like slime rancher and i want to know if there is a coop mode in Slime Rancher 2. It would be so fun playing with a friend. If there is no coop mode then can we make a mod?

Well, if you think about it, coop just breaks the game. Like, you get money faster, transport slimes faster, get doubled up tank space since you have 2 players, you can get achievements faster. And if you think, if one of you gets knocked out, it's either the other one gets knocked out too, or the other player sees the time change so fast, and it would bother some players. So yeah, basically since we got used to the single-player mode, I don't think it'll be good to have a co-op mode and playing it.
