Honestly, why even make a game anymore, just make a company focused on anti-cheat that actually works and maybe you'll be successful in selling it to all these trash companies that make games with potential just for cash grabs.

there are no truly functioning anti-cheats in any game. It doesn't exist, and is pointless in something that is f2p.
The ONLY thing that can prevent cheaters is tying game keys/accounts to gov't ids and using it for a banlist, and I don't see that going over well with a lot of people, at least in the West.

The fastest way to keep out cheaters is to Region lock your game so the cheating stays in each region and can be dealt with per region when you open it up to ping issues it makes people think everyone is cheating...fix your net code or region lock quit wasting peoples time.

yeah, OR - HEAR ME OUT - the company making the game just fixes their garbage before adding in new microtransactions. Anyone who doesn't see that is mentally ill.

Its not pointless, it prevents bottom of the barrel scum with 12 IQ from cheating - perfectly good point to work on it - the fact that its free and people are cheating is the problem, what the hell are you gaining? bro has tomato logic.

People should stop making f2p pvp games anyways because cheaters= dead game.
I have always been down with the personal i.d. linked to the internet/games. The only people that don't like it have something to hide. Would really keep dumb/bad people and cheaters in check.

and you havnt played the game enough. almost every game i play has at lest 3 cheaters in it. im either getting sniped out of the sky, or some dumb@ss is beaming me with a mp34 across the map.

because there is absolutely no way to ban someone from a f2p game. At least in paid game it's behind a paywall to play again.
There's a reason why every single f2p pvp game has major cheating issues that largely go unaddressed.

have you ever heard of a hardware ban? cause a lot of games use it to ban peoples devices from playing their game

you can spoof hardware in the time it takes to restart your computer + 3 minutes. Hardware bans are completely useless on pc.
