[Q&A] Mini Royale

Hey everyone,

first of all: thank you for joining our discussion for "Mini Royale".

This post will probably grow as the development of "Mini Royale" continues and more players join our community.

Q & A

1. When will the game be available for Alpha testing?

Currently there is no set date for alpha testing. The idea is to get a public version
(open alpha / closed alpha) ready for Q1 2022.

2. Will the game be available on mobile/consoles?

Right now the main priority is to finish the PC-version. When the game will have some
kind of success, we want to ship Mini Royale to consoles and mobile (in this order).

But first we want to make sure that the PC version is in an acceptable state (performance, bugs, game-feeling, etc.).

3. Will there be an option to play against Bots/AI?

As it stands now we will implement a simple AI to fill lobbies which didn't have enough human players to start a game. If there are enough requests we will build up on that system and give players the ability to host custom games with only bots (or friends and bots).

4. Is it necessary to have an Epic Games Account to play Mini Royale?

Yes, as it stands now everyone who wants to play MIni Royale needs an Epic Games Account. If you will play Mini Royale via your Steam Library, you only have to link your Epic Games Account to your Steam Account once.

Hey, appreciate the kind words! We are doing our best to bring you guys a playable version of the game as soon as possible. But we also want to make sure that the game is in a good state before making anything public :)!

whenever the alpha testing is ready, I am totally down to test. The game looks SO FUN and I am so exited for it. I dont know why but this game literally looks extremely fun and i cant wait to be able to play it.

Hey, thanks for the comment! From what we can say: It IS fun to play ;)

Make sure to either join the Discord Server (https://discord.gg/dNSUjtw8UM) or sign up for Alpha testing on our website (https://www.mini-royale.com/) to make sure you won't miss the early Alpha testing.

Hi, I've subscribed to early access alpha testing it's already april when can I get to test the game?

Hey, the Early-Alpha testing has not started yet and we didn't announce a date yet. Once, we will have a final date in mind, we will share the date on the Discord Server.

Judging from the comments it doesn't look like you will, but please don't rush it out, too many games fail because of broken alphas and this concept has major potential to be a big hit. Always loved 'toy soldier' games from the past, a battle royale version would be dope.

Hey, first of all: Thank you very much! We really want to get the most important stuff done correctly before thinking about an "official release". Specifically talking about performance, server performance, matchmaking and etc. Once we feel like this is good enough, we plan to choose more and more people from the community to test everything in a bigger scale!

Will you guys please add a lean left and lean right feature to this game? Usually Q is to lean left and E is to lean right, there are so many games that release without this important feature, please add this mechanic, and the ability to crouch, and go fully prone. These tactical features will make this game incredible, I’m so excited for this game!
