Is online multiplayer coming?

I remember playing Heroes of Might and Magic III a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my friends when I was younger, and this game really scratches the same itch. I know that 2-player hotseat exists, but are there any plans to make online multiplater with friends a possibility?

It is later, but not late enough to be as late as the FAQ's later :D

To be clearer, we have a lot of subjects to work on before taking position on that. Can't promise it will, can't promise it won't yet. But should there be any news, we'll keep you posted!

it would be fun but i can imagine people complaining about balance issues even tho its pretty good as is.

PvP would ruin this game, imo. It's pretty unbalanced in some ways, and a full PvP mode would bring about so much whining about any one thing that was found to be strong.
