25) When will X platform receive an update?
Itch.io and Steam updates are handled by the developer, that's why they're the first to update. All other platforms are handled by the publisher Goblinz but would also depend on the platform itself.
For example for GOG, ThingOnItsOwn (dev) hands off the updated version to Goblinz (publisher) and then they decide what to do with it, when, and where, but also depend on when GOG allows them to update it.
There are a few exceptions, such as the Switch and GX version being handled by completely different developers.
