En Garde never, at any point, gave me any issue with it. The only times I screwed up a parry was when my brain shorted out and I tried to parry an unblockable
its very easy. if you see the blue flash, just press parry.
pressing early is the key.
Yeah, I quit Sekiro because I couldn't handle the parry system even after sinking 40 hours into the game. The timing is too tight and I just don't have that level of reaction time in me. En Garde though, I had no trouble with. The hardest thing about this game's combat system is the pathetic dodge and slow backpedaling that makes it harder to back away when you get ganked. The parrying is easy.
yeah, parry can be done by reaction rather than anticipation.
although enemies will do the single/double/unblockable attack without any pattern so you won't be so sure of what kind of attack the enemy will throw next
another problem is probably when you're surrounded in the corner in which the camera can't stay behind you for some reason so you have move and dodge roll your way to an open space where the game's camera can follow behind you again.
This is compared to the thousands of people who have no issue understanding the very simple parry system and don't refuse to learn how things work. You have a skill issue, and its permanent because of your pride issue.
