running hot

was stupid and skipped the tutorial at first. for sure made it way better once i understood everthing. my only complaint is this game is absolutley burning up my computer. the only other game that makes it run so hot is FF7 remake. not sure why this one is casuing that.

Hi there! Can you provide me with your system specs? You can also press F1 to bug report in-game and it will send us your specs. If you are running on a laptop, we did have a couple reports of the system not switching to a dedicated GPU which was causing some issues.

i have an I7-9700 with a geforce 3070. ill send a report next time im on so its more detailed for yall.

Same for the Steam Deck. Fan kicks on high gear and stays like that until I close and it immediately stops.

and boy does it drain the battery. Went from 75% to 10% in about 35 mins

there's definitely something going on, like from what's going on on-screen there's no reason why it should be struggling to maintain 30 frames on deck

this game is frying my setup. 2070 super crispy hot for no reason .. guess it will be a refund

Just general advice for this kind of issue, force V-sync to on. That'll cap the framerate of most games to something sensable, and stop your GPU from trying to render a still image at 976fps.

The game already has a fps limit option, so I'm not sure that helps here.

But yeah, same thing here, game seems awesome but makes my pc crispy
