Well that's why there's Inns in the game. Peasants should flock to the Inn if they're out of food at home, or if the Inn is closer than, say, the granary. As-is, the Inn is a dull building nobody visits instead of the worker who goes there. So let's have Inns really working as they should, and also allow people to get drinks there besides a tavern.
Also, how about a foundation for the inn. I think the building size is maybe 4 squares wide by 8 squares high so how about a lot you can place near it and you can put by default, built in tables, a rest room, maybe a musician stand. The Inn should be like the hub of peasant rec after working all day, drinking and eating if they have money to spare.
that is a good idea too
