Getting Nobles is a pain in the @$$
You must make a party before you can marry and to make a party you need 3 nobles but quests where you can get some are really rare and when you get one its a big quest which needs a lot of time so in the endgame you just sitting there waiting and have nothing to do.

Pls change this!

Getting nobles right now is totally OK, they are meant to be rare because they can give you so much bonuses if put in your other palace buildings. If you need to wait for them just focus on some other things like building for more resources or doing quests or decorating your kingdom etc. Time flies while you do that :BerryBush::divlove:

The thing is. I have already 300 fableings and build everything what I can build. I literally have nothing other to do than throw a party and marry and this took me forever to get 3 nobles plus the time it needed to make the party.

Maybe its my fault that I not focused earlier on getting nobles but for me it feels like it should be a better way to get nobles.

Something doesn't seem right there. You get two free nobles when you reach small kingdom (250) and one when you build the castle. So if your kingdom is at 300, you should have three nobles. Unless those freebies scale with difficulty?

One could always reach small kingdom without haveing built a castle.
Nobles will want to join you eventually.

It's okay to have a learning curve. That's the fun of these types of games, isn't it? Optimizing and finding better ways to do things on the next playthrough.

After the wedding, the game is kind of over, so I personally don't want it to be sooner or easier to achieve.

Indeed but the OP specifically said that they have built everything. It should be safe to assume from their comments that they have built the castle.

Question on this - I hit the town milestone to get the 2 nobles but haven’t built a castle yet. Once I do, will the 2 nobles then show up?

In my experience they do not, you just lose them.

Bummer, thanks for confirming.

To OP, I saw elsewhere that you should be able to get more nobles if you build the Mystic Mine then defeat the trolls that spawn. I haven’t done this yet, but the same source said trolls will add a happiness debuff while spawned but will not aggro on anything but your military.

This is not correct info. You have to build the living quarters. The nobles need a place to live before they officially move in. You do not lose them. They just wait until you build a living quarters. You can only have a max of 20 nobles as well.

Hi,
I don't bet on this ^^
Where and how long time ??? They are waiting still you are able to build the castle ?
After read this thread , I was lucky to have a save before reach the small kingdom...
Carefully , i have stopped all the immigration at 249 and when the living quarters was finally built , I I got the nobles , but they begin to dying by starving cos i don't have immediatly the 5 commoners to put in the hub..
After finally micro-manage the population , they stay alive ...PPfffuitTT...
Won gold and noble money "seems" relatively "easy" in the game but they are a tons of bad events ( curse of the sorceries, dragon ..etc etc ..) which are falling to lose it three days after...

I've already beat this game and have 100% achievements. In every single of my runs, I've never lost a noble, but my micromanagement seemed to be better than yours since I always had enough food and didn't stop accepting fables into the city. There were times where I even had 4 nobles before the living quarters was built, and they were still there once it was built.

Dunno I didnt got free nobles. Nobles come in with quests and missions but really slow like 1 per ingame year or something

Yes,
That was a false impression cos i don't know exactly alls the rules about the palace..
So it is true than nobles ""are waiting in the shadows" still the living quarters were built..
Also i made a save before to begin the first quest for the first marriage and starting from these to finished the others...
And only one second time (for the latest marriage ,if i well remember ...), i got the trouble of starvation for the nobles ?!?...That was just cos , i think, the 5 commoners are well in the Hub , but a very little notification said than there is no one in the head ???
I don't try to understand why , just fired the 5 commoners and took 5 another but a little too late...
PS: Finished the game at 100% too ^^
