There are dog houses but no puppies or dogs?

Cute pups and dogs are a must, there shouldn't be any excuse for this.

The excuse is obvious. It's early access the game is a fraction of what it will be at 1.0. You'll get ur doggos have patience :)

Well, the excuse is that there's only two guys developing the game and development priorities are probably to get landmark development completed before doing the "charms" that decorate the world. A more effective way to communicate your point would be to say "Hey, are we going to eventually get dogs to play and live in the dog houses?" See, now doesn't that sound nicer? And it didn't cost a dime to be nice.

On the subject of the dog houses, I'd like to suggest that the devs remove the chain/rope that goes from a stake in the ground into the dog houses.

I realize that people used to chain dogs up all the time and all that, but it is terribly cruel and not something I really want a beautiful, quirky little game like Fabledom to propagate.

You haven't seen the dog that's inside the doghouse yet the mailman is perhaps very thankful that the dog is not loose.

Haha, I thought of that. Maybe we're thinking way too non-fabley about it, tbh. It's probably a little dragon or something along those lines. Of course, it does say 'DOG' above the cut-out. But maybe in Fabledom DOG stands for 'Dragon on Ground'

Yes, in a fable anything can be in D.O.G. House

You know what's funny. I could see that little dog house in my mind's eye when I wrote that post, complete with 'DOG' in white letters above the door. But when I loaded up the game, there is no word above the doghouse door.

Caveat: I was playing on a desktop with graphics maxed before, but I'm out of town and was checking to see if I could run the game on minimum specs on my mid-range gaming laptop so I had all the graphics settings as low as they would go, so now I'm wondering if the doghouse does say 'DOG' but that I can't see it because I've turned everything to 'potato' or whether it was never there and I only imagined it. Ahh, life and its mysteries.

A mystery that can be solved when on a desktop again :-) I'm on a gaming laptop and got it on low settings because of the overheating GPU issue. Can't check at the moment, since I'm working on my work laptop, no games on it.
