A bit dissapointed

I had high hopes after the initial Demo and to be honest, I should have bought the game at a later stage. In my opinion there isn't enough content for Early Access. I know it's a small team and it's the initial version, but it feels like no feedback was implemented from the Demo (which is surely/hopefully wrong) and there are soo many limitations in the current build.

First of all, I really think you should reconsider the whole random map/world generation or at least make sure, that people can use sectors they expand to, without the need to buy 2-3 more, to access it. I bought a sector above my starting area for fish (which are of course not in the EA build, which I found out later). Anyway I wanted to build two new farms in that area then and this was not possible, as the land area wasn't big enough for a road, so no workers got to the area where they needed to go in order to build. This was kinda annoying.

Also, what is the big benefit of making your people happy or happier? This should improve the income or reduce the amount of food they require or any sort of benefit. Right now it feels like a waste of money and resources and people to make your people really happy. Aside from having a higher number listed on buildings.

I also feel like there will be a huge issue later in the game, with how the system of transport works. It took my people ages to build stuff. I know you can say "only store this or that here", but that doesn't seem very intuitive. Maybe go more for the Settlers way where people transport goods? Sometimes my people also transport wood to a storage and then they need to access the storage again to further use this wood in the next building. Also we need more food options during winter in my opinion.

I know it sounds a bit unfair and I know it is the first EA build of the game, but it stills feels more like an extended Demo rather than Early Access. I expected to get at least around 10 hours of playtime out if it, but it's more like 4-5 hours or less if you increase the timer in-game.

Auhron First off this game is very good but I guess people like you everything needs to perfect right out of the box doesn't It. This game is EA so you knew what It was and how much content there is. So please stop complaining and either enjoy the game or just get a refund and don't buy another PC game ever.

There not being enough content to satisfy your needs is fine. Just give whatever feedback you can and come back later. Max and JF are in overdrive taking feedback and applying that to the game directly. They hear and see everything you guys say.

People on Steam...I play a lot of EA titles, doesn't mean that I have to be happy about every EA initial version that is getting released. I enjoyed the Demo and I'm providing feedback. It's great if some of you are 100% happy with the current version/state and I very well know that it is Early Access. Still a lot of other EA titles from small teams in similar gameplay areas offered a lot more initial content. So I allow myself to comment on points that aren't like I wish they would be. EA release doesn't mean that I have to be ok with very little content automatically or other things. Thanks to the other two users who actually provided something useful for this discussion rather than "It's EA, read or don't play any other PC game ever".

Its a good game, could be great one day. They are putting out patches like crazy right now. Adjusting the game.
