Food system doesn't work..
I have people dying of hunger even though I have more than enough food in storage..
There should be a way were people who are about to die from hunger can go and pick food for themselfe.
People will just continue they every day routine and die..
For example when the head of the household is sick in the hospital.

Ive seen games that have a delivery person who leaves the store/warehouse and deliver to houses. That may help keep stores full.

Yeh i think that the food system in this is a bit broken, I have had:
- People getting stuck around townhouses and dying of starvation
- Significant proportion of population existing just to create food... it seems that the 'higher order' food types seems to actually reduce the nutrition provided. I.e. as you switch to bread, it uses more base material to create, but doesn't satisfy as much hunger.

by me, they dont deliver the bread. so nowbody eats the bread...

Maybe having like a cart type system where the workers can deliver the food to buildings more evenly. I don't know If the devs are already working on a fix for the food system but this might be a fix.

I've found building a first granary right in the town centre rather than by farms helps. Devoting all peasant housing attachments to food does too. But food production scales badly - in my experience, a single veg farm (3 fablings) is as productive as 5x grain farms with associated mills and bakeries (25-ish fablings), but you're forced to build the latter to avoid losing honour to the Beggars event.

ye i have the same ♥♥♥♥ im around 130 pop with 2000+ food and granaries everywhere but people keep deying from hunger for some reason

i literally made a screenshot of a granary worker who is dying of starvation infront of his granary that is full.. make it make sense. hella annoying progressing takes too long if people keep dying from starvation especially when there is no food shortage..

I wonder if the problem with this is that fablings only eat at home. If they have a job across town, they have to make that walk. I saw one such fabling nearly starve due to the distance. Seems like worksites should also make food available. I doubt you need to change any visuals for this, other than the fabling making contact with the structure, same as a house.

Yes they only eat at home and I had two problems with this.
Either they finish their current job before going home to eat and starve at the job or the head of the household is in the hospital so no one brings food to the home and the whole household starves..

Build many storages and the town buildings have doors... there are must be free in directon to a town shop.
Villagers cant move thru or between buildings.

I did, still people died of hunger.
If they can't enter a houses it will be indicated. So that wasn't the problem.
