Workers are too slow
I feel like it takes forever to get anything done, like the workers are sooo slow. I've been playing it at the highest speed majority of the time and it is still taking forever for stuff to get done. Not even bothering with some of the objectives because I know it will take more than a month for the workers to build anything. I'm not sure if that's just how this game is, if I am missing something or if it will be adjusted later on.

do you have more laborers camps or a laborers guild? i have like 3 guilds and 3 camps. definitely gets things done faster having more but yeah, they're slow even with my happiness at 95.

I guess its just how this game is. And OK for me (never play 3x btw, too fast).
I like to enjoy, and there is always so much to do and to check.

And Yes, having high efficiency (happiness >90) helps a lot (+40% speed).

That might be why, maybe I just haven't gotten far enough to increase productivity. Happiness has been around 80%. I'll try putting more labor camps for now, thanks for the suggestion.

I'll keep playing towards that as well, raising happiness. I've got lots of money and everything else coming in but super low on wood/coal, planks, and stone brick things. Making the stone brick things and planks also takes a long time, only one worker per, so. I guess some parts feel like they move too quickly while others move too slowly. I've run out of the map event things except the new ones here and there that pop up after I've been playing awhile. Feels kinda empty. I don't feel like I have much to do most of the time but wait for stuff to get built. The upgrades being based on the population count seems like its using too many of certain resources that are also the ones I am having trouble keeping stocked. The visitors also just seem too frequent causing a supply and demand issue for me. Like I said though, I've been playing at 3x :Hajime_DGR:
I find that wood is my biggest bottleneck. You need it for planks and coal and quests and of course building. My workers just sit around idle until there is a piece of wood and I can't keep any wood, planks or coal in stock.

I'm not far enough to have a high happiness score, but I had a months buff and it didn't seem to make a big difference...

Yeah I have the same issue. I thought resources worked liked in the ANNO games but actually it's dependent on location so the further from the output/warehouse/building the longer it is going to take.
Are you building roads as well? That speeds them up when they move.

Personally i really like this aproach. It's similar to how Manor Lords handles it and it means that if you got a mine way out in the arse end of nowhere it's gonna take a while to get that built or serviced. It adds a nice layer and something to think about when planning.

Short ways help (thats logical, is'nt it?)
And lots of woody huts help too - I mean: loooots of.
