Homestead Attachements

I can't add attachments. I can randomise them to add them, but they are all greyed out otherwise. If I hover over the greyed out attachments it will say something like "currently in realm 7". That is not helpful in the slightest, hence me asking questions here. I wish the game was more helpful. I want to put food in homesteads too and I can't figure out how to do that either.

Did you put the randomized attachments into the trashcan and toggle the randomizing?
Then you should be able to choose what you want.

You cannot put food into homesteads. There is a HoH (head of home) who cares for that task. With an apple tree, chicken ... food is produced automatically by HoH.

I just deleted the random things I didn't want and replaced them with things I do. I put in a greenhouse and chickens, or an apple tree and greenhouse. It seems to have solved the starving problem. I thought to myself I'll have a look again and this time it clicked. It was crazy, I'd have a character who was starving and yet he had 4 fish in his boat. Also there was food in the stockpiles. I was being too logical. :) Also I've played survival games where the character ate things they had on them.

Just curious, after I manually add attachments to the house I press build then press random attachments again and now it has 4/2 attachments. Is this a bug or am I missing how to add more than 2 ?
