beanstalk question

I wanted to put the beanstalk somewhere out of the way so I put it at the edge of some cliffs which I didn't realize was unreachable by my hero. It looked like there was a path but I guess it's too narrow. If I demolish the beanstalk will that guy ever come back and sell me the beans again or do I have to start a new game?

I'm not sure if the quest will come back if you demo the beanstalk. First though, could you report this using the feedback form in the escape menu please? That form will attach the save so the team can take a look. That issue is definitely not meant to happen, the stalk should be accessible from all positions.

Next I would attempt to locate an autosave or manual save prior to the stalk placement just in case you need to rollback.

I will ask Max about this in a bit.

Ok. Actually I already demolished the beanstalk and saved over the file so it's not there anymore. Do you still want the save file? I suppose I could try and put another small building or something else there to let you know the spot it used to be in.

Kind of related to this topic... once you "complete" the beanstalk quest, I can freely demo it? It doesn't appear to have any use once you complete the task.

Wouldn't it be great if our hero could climb it again, maybe fight, and bring back an armful of....

Cloud Cotton Candy!! (only usable in Noble festivals) Maybe only a stack of 60 or something. Just so sad to see that stalk sitting there and we don't even get a lil peek up there. I know I wanna see :D
