Starving and food managment

I would love to understand how the food management works. I have many farms, mills and bakerys but my fablings keep on starving.

Should I just build more? I even focused a full year to farms and couldn´t solve it

Focus on veg primarily until you unlock commoners, then you want more veg fields than wheat. You can produce loads of bread but it's just way easier to produce loads of veg.

They hired someone to help with balance and making the bread system feel better is one of the first things they're working on.

Ooooh I focused on wheat more than vegs, so I have a lot of wheat and not many vegs.... thanks for the reply !! :)
