I´d wish Milestone would some day realize that controller feedback (triggers) is a must.
Well, there is a tiny bit of it on R5, which is more than R4.
Still nowhere near enough to understand what the tires do while braking.
I'd say the playerbase need to wake up, and soon. Stop accepting sh|t products. If people want arcade physics they can play others games instead.
Ride 5 and MotoGP24 are complete turds when it comes to handling which is the most important thing. That's why I do not play them even though I do own them. I wish I could play them, but when the newest game(s) are worst than the one's before, something is very wrong.
Ride 4 is still best even with its flaws. We need and upgrade, yesterday...
Compared to Ride 4, it requires a softer, more analog input imo.
I am driving with all aids off, EB 4, ABS 0.
I think the issue is more with the lack of feedback, which has been plagueing Milestone Games forever.
You basicly have to learn what each bike wants, what the tires are doing, since the game fails to communicate it well enough.
Milestone really need to work on the feedback given through the controller (XBox in my case). I think a audio-cue would also be good, something like rubber scratching on asphalt when the front tire locks up.
Maybe that wouldn´t be super realistic, but neither is the exaggerated tire-squeal on most car sims. Make it optional, so ppl who don´t like it can turn the volume off.
As for the physics in general, it took a while to transition, but now I can´t even go back to Ride 4.
Imo the bikes on Ride 5 feel a lot more natural and weighty, less twitchy.
Also less oddities like the sudden wobble or issues with elevations on R4.
Unrelated, but man the sunsets and transitions to night are lovely. ;)
And I am sorely missing camera options, as always.
