How does the editor work?
So I am Year 1931 and my paper gets progressively more and more red tags to their reports. I hired an editor long ago but I can't drag any report to him. And obviously he's not doing it by himself either. How does the editor work or how can I avoid 'sloppy' work or lies or therelike?

Whenever there's a piece that has a red mark, there's an option to include the editor at the bottom of the page before you send out your reporters. The process for such will make getting the report page-ready take longer, but it will remove the negative marks and thus not impact sales.

Never seen such an option...you mean in the globe map page?

On the report menu.

If an Story-file (file map where you assign reporters) with in a news item has a red negative tag then underneath that file you see the reporting time and an option to send it past the editor (if you have one)

Hope this helps

I noticed it now, thank you! I didn't know its not appearing for sloppy writing due to stress, and I obviously searched at the wrong spot for it.

Can someone post a screen shot of the option to include the editor as I've yet to come across that?

I recently added the editor to my guide, which has a screen shot :)

(not sure if this works: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3191000376)

Thanks, but I have never seen the "Editor Enabled" feature show up despite having an editor.

Edit: Fixed it! I had my editor on the graphic editor desk and not my text editor desk and the option showed up. Be mindful if you have multiple desks and only one person manning it (like me). Hope this helps for others!!!

I've been researching on here how the editor works. I've checked the guides and there's nothing helpful, I'm actually pretty annoyed cause I bought their stuff and I can't even use them. I haven't seen any option to run it by the editor. I really wish they would just add the manual feature of having the editor take a look at the specific **finished** report, because I unlocked the editor thinking I wouldn't have to worry anymore, but I get finished reports with sloppy tags. For now they're pretty useless to me, idk if this is a bug.

Case in point: took a screenshot [ibb.co]
I'll try checking with different negative tags and see if there's a difference.

I'm having the same problem. The editor just doesn't seem to do anything. I don't have anywhere I can assign one, and I only have one editor at one editor desk, so I don't know what could be going on otherwise.
if you chose first how can you remove ''old news'' or 'slopy;?

You cannot. The editor cannot fix either of these
