Hemokinesis Not Working?

I can get Plagum to proc with the pistol or a blade. But I can't seem to get Hemokinesis to proc using the spear or greatsword. Anyone else having this issue?

I finally realized it was working. It's just hard to tell you're being healed unless you're looking at your hearts.

Thanks for posting your findings! I can suggest a visual effect on Hemokinesis heal to the developer as a potential QOL improvement.

Also note that some enemies and bosses are immune to the status effect later in the game. But yes, the other thing to note is those odds really are the odds so if you’re using a weapon with a 1/20 chance every time you hit the enemy, you’re having a 1/20 chance of being healed so sometimes you get lucky and get a lot of heal other times nothing for enemies at a time. I also found during certain boss fights. The blood daggers were actually more productive for healing, than even the greatsword with the 10% healing because you’re swinging it so fast that it’s stacks rapidly!
