Why does how much stuff I get or how many manual points I get etc fluxuate? I can't see what's changing...is there some kind of underlying Feng Shui thing going on?

There is a thing called multi resource drop that can be affected by changing lifestones and other things (I think realm counts) eventually you end up pulling in ridiculous amounts of resources. You'll need it because the higher stages cost even more. Most likely you changed out something with resource drop.

That's the odd thing. I hadn't changed anything. I'd just read manuals at once and the amount I get per month on that would change even on the same manual sometimes.

Ugh. My cultivation when crossing realms became weaker too even though I'm using only Divine ranked breakthrough items...

Manual points/Enlightenment/the scroll resources are got by fighting in travel against monsters, the higher level monster the more you get. Fighting weaker monsters get less. You can also evolve a monster which gains you more when fighting them. Learning manuals uses them up.

I think you're misunderstanding something. I'm not talking about the Enlightenment point requirements. I'm talking about the Enlightenment Points per month requirement. Keeps changing even though I'm not upgrading the manual speed boosting abode and am only reading the manuals. Reading a manual and it'll need 1.14e4/month and then the next manual will be 1.08e4/month and then the next one might be 1.16e4/month. No talismans were used at that time either.

The points / month indicator is not requirement, it's how much you're consuming. Each manual rank costs more. Can't remember if increasing cultivation speed also increased your manual learning speed, but if it does that would be your answer - if you're reading a manual that increases your cultivation speed, you're spending points faster after each learned level.

Edit: Out of curiosity I checked if this happens in my game and apparently it does slowly fluctuate up and down while I'm auto-clearing a mystic realm, roughly by ~1-2% up and down... Or at least so far it steadily increases 5-20 seconds for few minutes and then falls back down.

Lets see if I can show a screenshot of what I meant. Not sure how to take screenshots in-game as steam screenshots weren't working. If the screenshot works, I've been doing nothing other than killing some toads for total enlightenment and nothing else between the two screenshots.

Edit: As you can see in the screenshot, one shows the rate as 460.05e16 and the other shows as 460.64e16.
